We present a software toolkit that allows graphic designers to make camera-based interactive environments in a short period of time without experience in user interface design or machine vision. The Attention Meter, a vision-based input toolkit, gives users an analysis of faces found in a given image stream, including facial expression, body motion, and attentive activities. This data is fed to a text file that can be easily understood by humans and programs alike.

Attention Meter Files
Source: AttentionMeterRelease.Source.v0.0.2.zip
Binary: AttentionMeterRelease.Bin.v0.0.2.zip (includes all required files, including the OpenCV dlls)
To compile the source as is, you’ll need to link in the OpenCV libraries cxcore.lib, cv.lib, highgui.lib, and the windows networking library WS2_32.lib.
Flash Applications using Attention Meter
Simple Flash example
Taiker KTV (from Asian Reality 2005)
Screaming Market (from Asian Reality 2005)
Place these Flash examples in the same directory as Attention Meter.exe. You must start Attention Meter before running these examples for them to work properly.
